Iggy D. and the Traitors

Iggy D. & the Traitors began is a solo project of Igor Diniz, a former member of the Brazilian rock’n'roll band called New Ones. After four years on tour as the drummer of New Ones, Igor went from drums to guitar/vocals and the began writing his own songs and recording all the instruments by himself in his friends studios in the city of Londrina. What used to be a solo project became a band and now has Glauco Caruso and Rafa Vella on drums and bass. The songs are influenced by rock’n'roll and the punk scene of 1977, sounding like a mixture of Rolling Stones and the Ramones, The Jacobites and Sex Pistols, Dogs Damour and Small Faces, New York Dolls and The Stooges, Johnny Thunders and Hanoi Rocks, and Bo Diddley and Dead Boys. These buddies of mine rock it real hard, while I had the pleasure of DJing besides them in an awesome night in Rio da Janeiro called Ruby tuesdays.
